Philadelphia just got two feet of snow overnight. The city shut down, my Tuesday evaporated, and it turned out none of the things I had planned were actually that important.

The coffee I had to get from the place three blocks away? Made it at home. Fine.

A blizzard is a pretty blunt instrument for recalibrating your week, but it works. Sometimes the obstacle isn’t really in the way, it just moved you somewhere you weren’t planning to go.
