Very interesting perspective on value extraction versus value creation. I'd never really considered the difference before this book. The Value of Everything

Recently Finished

I Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again
David Foster Wallace I know, I know. Another DFW book. That being said, this is a pretty hilarous read.

Yellowface
R. F. Kuang I felt the tension throughout the book and the constant references to places in Georgetown (DC) were pretty fun.

Adrift: America in 100 Charts
Scott Galloway Attempts to describe a lot of what we're seeing when it comes to violence and polarization in today's world. Some very concerning statistics.

Consider the Lobster and Other Essays
David Foster Wallace Each story was hilarious in its own way. So many perspectives of our country in one collection.

The Social Animal
David Brooks The book followed fictional people and their progression through time, which made it very easy to get hooked and invested in their journey.

Educated
Tara Westover Eye-opening perspective from an entirely different upbringing than my own. Hands down one of the most interesting books I've ever read.

The Alchemist
Paulo Coelho I actually read this one twice because of all the hype. Some great quotes, but it didn't hit me as hard as I would have liked.

Super Thinking: The Big Book of Mental Models
Gabriel Weinberg, Lauren McCann Interesting at times, but also quite a bit of mental overload when it comes to the sheer number of modals discussed. Breadth vs. depth.
