I will definitely be reading “Buyology” by Martin Lindstrom. As Lindstrom notes, 8 out of 10 US products launches will fail. Therefore, the following certainly applies.
It’s likely that the information in this book will be used in future marketing campaigns, so even if you aren’t in the marketing business, it’s a worthwhile read as a measure of self-awareness and self-defense.

Generation Blend: Managing Across the Technology Age Gap takes an interesting look at generational aspects. According to Amazon:
Generation Blend explores how generational attitudes toward technology affect issues as diverse as recruitment and retention, employee training, management decision-making, collab-oration, knowledge sharing, work/life balance, and ordinary workday activities.
Overall I thought the book wasn’t bad despite the fact that I hate the entire concept of “generational generalizations”. I think if you take co-workers and potential employees as individuals rather than as categorically this or that, you’d see a different workplace dynamic. That said, the book is probably a good resource for HR representatives and sourcing companies.
