Despite my best efforts, I’ve never been a consistent blogger.  I’m interested in too many things to keep to one topic and I never seem to have enough time to think before I write.  Therefore, Paul.io is my attempt to make sense of my Google Reader Notes, web clippings, and more involved “articles” I post to a WordPress blog.

Who am I?

My name is Paul Legan and I live in New Milford, CT.  New Milford is a smaller town of around 35,000 people situated about an hour from Massachusetts and an hour from NYC.  I live and work in the area as a web developer and Internet marketer.  In late 2007 I started Snowdrop Media, LLC, a hybrid SEO/marketing/properties company, and continue to manage it today.

My Background

I have a BA in Computer Science and Math from Skidmore College.  I’m glad I chose a liberal arts college over a purely technical school because I was able to take a variety of courses outside the objective realm of Math and Computer Science. Overall I enjoyed my experience there and hope to continue my education with an MBA.

Interests

I love minimalism in all aspects of life – I strongly believe we can learn a lot by boiling things down to their fundamentals.  I like problem solving, and I often get caught up in trying to make things more efficient.  As for a mantra, I’d have to go with something like “No problem can stand the assault of sustained thinking.”*
