Despite my best efforts, I’ve never been a consistent blogger. I dabble in a lot of activities and rarely reflect on them via the written word, but perhaps this website will inspire me to be more expressive.
My Background
After growing up in suburban Connecticut, I studied Computer Science and Mathematics at Skidmore College, a small, liberal arts college in upstate New York that stresses creativity and non-traditional learning. If you or your children are engaged in the college selection process, I highly recommend it.
While in school, I picked up a few programming languages (PHP, Java, Delphi) and began freelancing in Delphi software development. In 2005, I created AudioGizmo Ringtone Creator, an MP3 ringtone creation tool downloaded by over 300,000 people.
Inspired by the success of AudioGizmo, I promptly commenced work on AudioGizmo Mobile Studio, an ambitious application that aimed to automatically convert, upload, and manage mobile ringtones and wallpaper for over 150 different devices. Unfortunately, I grew bored of the project after several months and decided web design and development was more fun.
In 2007, I created a small software development company named Snowdrop Media, which helps small businesses and individuals establish themselves online. At the same time, I was hired by a large, privately-held pharmaceutical company to manage their marketing website portfolio and eventually implement a global content management system.
In 2011, I began working for 3|SHARE Corporation, an Adobe® Systems Solution Partner and leading implementer of Adobe’s Day CQ5® for Content Management, Digital Asset Management, and Social Collaboration.
Here’s my professional resume.
